Talking Points

Free support and advice in your local community

Sometimes we all need a little extra help, whether it's with money worries, loneliness, caring responsibilities, housing concerns or simply knowing where to turn for support.

Talking Points are friendly drop-in sessions held across Warrington where you can speak to someone face-to-face about the issues that matter to you. No appointment is needed.

The Talking Point team can provide information, advice and support with a wide range of issues, including:

  • Loneliness and social isolation
  • Carer support
  • Housing advice
  • Cost of living support
  • Energy and utility advice
  • Employment and volunteering opportunities
  • Transport and travel
  • Access to food and community support
  • Mobility and adaptations
  • Community activities and groups
  • Health and wellbeing support

If they don't have the answer straight away, they will help connect you with the people or organisations who can help.

Talking Points are designed to be welcoming, informal and easy to access.

You can simply drop in and have a conversation with a member of the team. They will listen to your concerns, help you explore your options and connect you with local services and support. Many sessions offer a warm welcome and a hot drink while you talk things through.
